In an unprecedented move to support the arts in Fulton County, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners has unanimously voted to extend a second round of funding through its Contracts for Arts Services (CFS) program. At a time when public funding for the arts is shrinking, this bold move by FCAC has been greeted with applause and gratitude by arts organizations, artists, and audiences.
With this award, FCAC, which has been one of the most steadfast supporters of Flux Projects’s work since 2012, continues its major support of our operations.
The Fulton County Arts Council was established in 1979 by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners to ensure all citizens’ access to the arts. They accomplish this through support and development of artists, arts organizations, arts institutions, and cultural programming for residents.
